Rules & Regulations:

1. NO NEW ENTRIES WILL BE ENTERTAINED ON THE DAY OF TOURNAMENT. ONLY ONLINE CONFIRMED ENTRIES WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY.
2. For team championship score of Best four players of the School will be considered.
3. Each participating school have to give names of the four players for the TEAM Trophy before the start of the event.
4. One school Team can participate only in one category.
5. The tournament will be played under rapid chess rules with 45 minutes to each player.
6. Every participant shall abide by the tournament rules & regulations and any misconduct on his/her part may result in expulsion from the tournament.  

Tournament Timings: (Tentative Schedule , Rounds may increase according to the entries)

      Reporting Time : 2:45 pm (18.10.2008) 

• Ist Round   on    18.10.2008   @ 3:30 pm sharp
• IInd Round on  18.10.2008  @ 5:00 pm or earlier
• IIIrd  Round on 18.10.2008   @ 06:30 pm or earlier
  

 

• IVth Round on 19.10.2008  @ 10:00 am sharp
• Vth Round on   19.10.2008   @ 11:45 am or earlier
• Lunch Break     01:15 pm – 01:45 pm
• VIth Round on  19.10.2008   @ 01:45 pm sharp
• VIIth Round on  19.10.2008   @ 03:15 pm sharp

 

Entry Fee : Rs 150/-

Prize Distribution Ceremony  :   5:00 pm

Note: Please make your entries before 17.10.2008 so that we can start & finish the tournament on time.
          Participants to bring their own chess clocks.       
          Certificates will not be given before Prize Distribution Ceremony in any case.
